The service is expected to turn in four weeks and will complement the existing relay service, which connects Algeciras to Lagos-Apapa, Tema and Abidjan (5191). The ships are handled at Hanjin's Algeciras Total Terminal, where transhipments with long haul services allow to connect West Africa to Asia and America.

The WAF 2 will run initially on a fortnigthly basis with two ships of 1,700 teu. The first sailing is planned from Algeciras on 27 July with the 1,732 teu HANSA LIMBURG, operated by UASC.
